RIDGEWOOD CREEK POA 

  BOD MINUTES OF MEETING 

May 20, 2024 

ATTENDEES: 

 

Present:  Kyle Hauber, Tom Kruse, Rick Szevery, Linda Jones, Chris Ader, John Tritle and Kristin Stokes 

Absent: None 

Visiting: Stephanie Hauber, Sam Hefflin 

 

 

After determining there to be a quorum present, the Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Ridgewood Creek Property Owner’s Association was called to order at 5:38 PM by President Tom Kruse.  The meeting location was held via ZOOM. 

 

Minutes were previously approved via email and posted to the website 

 

Announcements:   

  1.  None 

Financial Committee: (Chris Ader Chairperson) 

 

  1. Checking account balance as of 5/20/2024 was $30,308.04 
  1. CD balance is $15,000. 
  1. 6 members are currently late with their dues. 
  1. Online payment links are active.  Cost to the HOA is $10.00 monthly for this service 

 

Grounds Committee: (John Tritle Chairperson) 

 

  1. Planning volunteer day for 2024 TBD   
  1. John is looking for decorations for the upcoming Holidays.  Bunting etc. 
  1. Spring Cleanup has been done.  Ag-Lime replacement might be done as a DIY project.   
  1. No soliciting signs were discussed again. 

 

Control / Nominating Committee: (Co-Chairpersons, Stephanie Hauber and Samantha Heflin) 

 

  1. Welcome Packets have been distributed to new resident on Chimney Hill Ct 

Old Business: 

 

  1. Bylaws and Covenants and Restriction have been converted to electronic copies and need to be reviewed by our attorney.  The lawyer has looked them over and the amendments need to be recorded in the county.  Amendments regarding updates changes need to be submitted to County. Ongoing, Tom will update. 
  1. Advised by the county that they sweep our streets once a year.  Investigating if we can reschedule that, Wednesday is not a good day due to garbage day. John to call County. Still pending as of 4-27 
  1. Discussed painting pickle ball lines on tennis court.  This will be done in the summer weather permitting. 
  1. Stephanie Hauber will update and consolidate Google Drive with current information. 
  1. Two (2) Solar powered speed limit signs that are roughly $3000.00 each will be purchased and installed by the Board.  Locations will be determined.  One will be purchased in 2023 and the other in 2024.  UPDATE- due to costs, delayed this purchase while considering other options. 
  1. New “No Soliciting” signs will be purchased and installed at the entrances. 
  1. Path issues were discussed in regards to erosion. Tom to call VCC to see if they will give him the names of the paving Company they use.  We have a quote on concrete path material from a relative of Samantha Heflin.   

 

 

New Business: 

 

  1. Tom Batista will pain the sign at the west entrance  
  1. Rick Szevery will contact Sinco to discuss signs for Northridge Condos 
  1. Tom will contact Anise about his rental home looking tacky.  Lawn care is non existent. 
  1. Ecosystems of the pond were briefly discussed and a lady from Northridge has avenues we will discuss to better handle the goose issues and invasive plants etc.  
  1. Tom will call pump company if pump starts acting up again. 
  1. Darin Demaree will reinstall the overflow drain connection on the pond.
